Powerful export/import modules allow you to export and import MySQL databases and tables to/from 14 available formats, including import from any ADO-compatible databases or MySQL databases, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, HTML, XML, PDF, and many more.
DBACentral for MySQL allows you to provide full data integrity within your database irrespectively of your MySQL server version or database table types. You can create and modify logical references between table fields, which cascade data modification for the related fields and simplify the process of managing data within forms and grids. Of course, physical references (InnoDB foreign keys) are also supported.
Migration from Microsoft Access
With DBACentral for MySQL Microsoft Access users can easily migrate to native MySQL environment with minimum loss of standard Access functionality as the main principles of working with tables, queries, and forms are quite similar.
Full list of current changes:
- Sorting, grouping and filtering functions in the Table Data View window are improved. Now these functions are applied to the whole table data set, not to the single segment of data. Still, if you want to use the old-style mode of sorting and filtering, use the 'Filter/sort current segment only' option in the Options dialog.
- PHP generation is significantly improved. Now web pages work with PHP5 correctly.
- Fixed several bugs with export to SQL.
- Fixed bug with importing data from CSV.
- Problems with exporting database to an Excel workbook are fixed.
- The bug with displaying long VARCHAR fields is fixed.
- Fixed bug with parsing DOUBLE and FLOAT fields in the SQL View mode of the Table Designer.
- Fixed bug with opening tables, which contain dots in field names.
- The 'comment too long' error occurred on altering InnoDB tables is fixed.
- Fixed bug with resizing procedure and function designers.
- Fixed bug with opening User Designer on later MySQL versions.
- Fixed some bugs with the Report Designer.
- Several other minor improvements.
