Create your own GIS solutions
EasyMap VCL is a Delphi/C++Builder components set for creating your own GIS-related solutions without MapInfo, MapX, MapObjects, WinGIS and so on.
Overview
EasyMap VCL allows to add following functionalities to Delphi/C++Builder application:
- MIF/MID vector maps displaying in Longitude/Latitude projection;
- Map objects related data in grid or tabular controls displaying;
- ZoomIn/ZoomOut/Pan/Selector map tools;
- support of Delphi 2005 (Win32 edition), 5-7, C++Builder 5-6;
- Now you can use the almost any custom formats using TCustomFormatProvider class (and, of course, your development skills)
The main features of the EasyMap are:

You can manage the map and its objects in object-oriented style, add your own geographic objects types and map managing elements. - EasyMap
library does not depend on certain GIS system
You can create map layers and objects dynamically in run-time and there are no difference where data located, in ASCII files (MIF/MID), database or in some internal format. - Basic tools set
EasyMap library provides you with basic tools (ZoomIn, ZoomOut, Pan, Selector, etc.) and ability to retrieve object data as set of properties (CurrentTool, CenterX, CenterY, Zoom, etc), events (OnAddSelection, OnAddLayer, etc.), and methods (MapToScreen, ScreenToMap, etc). - Rapid development

This release introduces several major improvements:
- WOR-files support
- ability to rotate map
- map scaling improved
- text handling improved
- Delphi/C++Builder 2009 support added.
Several minor bugs are also fixed.
Full changelog:
- WOR-files read-only support added. Added ability of loading of layers lists and layers orderings, as well as their global parameters. Use new TEasyMap.LoadWOR(FileName) method to load appropriate .wor file.
- Ability to rotate loaded map added.
Use new TEasyMap.RotateMap(x,y: Double; angle:Double) method to rotate current map. You can use RotatedToNormal() and NormalToRotated() methods to translate coordinates while map is rotated. - New read-only
properties added:
- TEasyMap.RotateAngle - current angle of map rotation
- TEasyMap.RotatePointX, TEasyMap.RotatePointY - rotation point
coordinates - CodeGear Delphi/C++Builder 2009 support added.
- Map scaling is improved. Now you can zoom map relative to screen center (old behavior), relative to mouse cursor position or relative to selected object. Use new TEasyMap.ZoomType property to control mouse wheel zoom behavior.
- EasyMap examples updated, several new examples added.
- TEasyMap.OnZoom event added. It is fired after map zooming is complete
- TEasyMap.OnPaint event added. You can't perform any custom drawing on map with it
- TText.FreezeFontSize property added. Text font size will be scaled with Zoom operation only if this property is set to True.
- TText.MinVisibleFontSize property added. Text labels are drawn only if their calculated Font size for current scale factor is equal or larger than MinVisibleFontSize property value. This feature allows to exclude small unreadable text labels from map when you zoom it out.
- TText.Font propery subproperties (Size, Style etc.) can be used to adjust text label font.
- Several memory-leaks eliminated.
- Minor bug-fixes and improvements.

- Commercial License: Grants the right to use the product with the right to distribute the results of such using to third parties.
- Business License: Grants the right to use the product only for internal business purposes without the right to distribute the results of such using to third parties.
- Personal License: Grants the right to use the product only for personal non-commercial, non-business, non-government purposes.
