of sample instruments to 64 pitched sounds and
a set of 100+ percussive sounds. Kontakt Player
Gold offers perfect integration in Sibelius without any
external device, and brings any score off the
paper and into the ear.
The instruments included are
authentic & diverse, ranging from an excellent selection
of orchestral solo and ensemble instruments up to
modern keyboards, organs, guitars, and basses. Each instrument
has been edited & optimized to fit perfectly
within a variety of musical arrangements.
The sample playback
engine sets the standard for sound quality &
performance. Up to 32 instrument slots (as opposed
to 8 with Kontakt Player Silver) can play
back simultaneously for full arrangements. Each instrument offers
up to five parameters such as attack, reverb
and timbre for fine-tuning the sound.

into 7 categories: woodwind, brass, keyboard, percussion, voice,
strings & guitars;
- Musical instruments covered: from piccolo
& bass clarinet to alto sax & muted
