Data recovery software for corrupted Zip archives
ZipRecovery extracts files from corrupted Zip archives (.zip).
Supported are Zip archives created by WinZip, RAR, 7-Zip, InfoZip, PKWARE Zip etc.
The recovered data is saved into a new Zip archive.
New in ZipRecovery 1.6:
- Supports all Zip compression modes
- Supports archives over 4Gb
Standard features:
- Extracts files from corrupted ZIP archives
- Easy to use, no special user skills required
- Full install/uninstall support
Limitations
- If some part of the archived file is overwritten therefore the whole file is skipped while recovering the archive
- The password-protected archives recovery is not supported in the current version of ZipRecovery
System Requirements
- Operating system: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 2003 Server or 2008 Server. Windows 95, 98, ME are not supported.
- RAM: 256-1024 MB (depends on archive size and corruption range)
- Hard Disk: minimum 10 MB of free space required for installation
- Display: 640 x 480 or higher resolution, 256 colors
Licensing
Standard License
Intended for small business and/or individual use.
One Standard license of ZipRecovery allows:
- One installation of the product;
- Use for servicing an internal domain up to 50 computers.
For having more than one installation or servicing a larger domain, an appropriate number of additional licenses must be purchased.
Standard license limitations:
- The product may not be used while rendering data recovery services to third parties. See Service license for these types of use.
- No support for command line calls included.
Enterprise License
Intended for medium to large businesses.
One Enterprise license of ZipRecovery allows:
- Two installations of the product;
- Use for servicing an internal domain up to 250 computers;
- Support for using ZipRecovery in batch files by providing command line interface.
For having more than two installations or servicing a larger domain, an appropriate number of additional licenses must be purchased.
Enterprise license limitations:
- The product may not be used while rendering recovery services to third parties. See Service license for these types of use.
Service License
Intended for businesses rendering IT services to third parties, including but limited to: data recovery companies, helpdesks etc.
One Service license of ZipRecovery allows:
- One installation of the product;
- Using for servicing unlimited number of third-party users;
- Support for using ZipRecovery in batch files by providing command line interface.
For having more than one installation an appropriate number of additional licenses must be purchased.
Service license limitations:
- The license terminates in one year from the date of purchase. For continued use of the product, the license must be renewed annually;
- The product purchased under Service license may not be used for recovering Licensee's internal company servers. An appropriate quantity of Standard or Enterprise licenses must be acquired for these purposes.
